
Just in case you can't see it, I'll describe it to you. The picture is on a flyer promoting food on sale for Hispanic Heritage Month.
The man is the picture appears to be a stereotypical caricature of a Mexican man with a sombrero selling food items on a cardboard tent sign. It seems as if the same person who designed the flyer didn't take time to ask co-workers if that were a good idea.
Well, ChicagoNow blogger Christina Rodriguez--who normally blogs about diabetes--decided to set the record straight about the offensive flyer and a few other things.
